Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is born in Romania and is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's most famous as the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control as well as Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was sixteen, she had secured a number of TV roles such as the lead role in the movie Downfall Youth With No Youth Control. Following her highly praised role in the TV film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play several other acclaimed roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge in Downfall. The film won an Oscar and was praised by critics. Another Oscar nominated movies featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra is involved in numerous notable projects at both a national and international level. The projects she worked on include her work on the British biographical Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time and as the French Historical Miniseries Napoleon. Additionally, she was an active member of the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
