Michael Keaton is an American actor and producer best known for his performance in the film "Birdman. A versatile actor, he has the ability to play both dramatic and comedic parts. Then, he tried comedy stand-up in his teens. This was not a very successful stand-up career, however it was a step for a career in acting. Unable to find success as a comic, he took on a position as cameraman for a TV cable channel. When he was working for the cable station, he discovered that he would like to be in the front of cameras. After that, he was offered a TV performance, and was in many shows in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and quickly became a household name in the world of television. He embarked on the film industry with high ambitions and found considerable fame with his comedic roles. The actor gained more fame when he played Batman who was the title character in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew up in the field of acting and then began producing and directing films. His performance in 2014 as Birdman was rewarded with numerous nominations and awards.
