Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, is a Lebanese-British barrister human rights activist and philanthropist. She graduated from Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law. Amal Clooney has a long and prosperous career as a lawyer and human rights activist. She has acted for a variety of high-profile nation states, among them Armenia that was fighting against her to convince the Turkish government to recognise that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged and was married to American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household word in pop entertainment. Prior to this, she was already well-known and respected within the legal community in the legal community for her ability to represent clients in a professional and effective manner. The scope of her work includes tackling human rights, social justice issues to representing several multinational corporations during negotiation and court cases concerning government regulations.
